The Polycom SoundStation VTX 1000 is high fidelity conference phone that automatically adapts to each meeting environment. When two SoundStation VTX 1000 conference phones connect on opposite ends of a call, the phones automatically connect in VTX Wideband mode, resulting in extraordinary sound quality. An optional subwoofer can be added to provide even clearer, lifelike sound. In larger conference rooms, optional expansion microphones can be added for coverage on longer tables. The VTX 1000 connects directly to a standard telephone line (POTS) or analog station port (FXS) on your PBX. On IP PBX systems or hosted IP platforms, it can be connected through an analog gateway device connected to your IP network.
